Starting out in the industrial oil and gas field, Dave saw industrial rail sector services begin to evolve and he recognized a demand for supplying manpower for loading services in 2005. As his business Petro-Traxx Inc. began to grow, so did the need to provide switching services and mechanical services for rail car movers. As the focus on rail safety continued to increase too, Dave co-founded Ultra-Traxx Inc. in 2015 to provide ultrasonic rail testing. In 2019 Petro-Traxx became the authorized Shuttlewagon dealer for Western Canada.

Stacey is an owner/operator of Ultra-Traxx Inc. since 2015. Stacey has worked in the Inspection and Non-destructive testing field since 1994, mainly in the Oil and Gas sector. His experience includes testing of pressure vessels, storage tanks and pipelines. Ultra-Traxx provides rail flaw detection services to industrial yards, short lines, mainlines and transit systems for the safety of rail industry personnel and the public. Stacey is dedicated to applying his knowledge and experience to the ongoing development of safety of the rail industry.
